Welcome!
Throughout history, compassionate touch has proven to be a powerful tool for relieving pain and discomfort, decreasing stress, and facilitating change on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Today the medical and scientific communities recognize that massage and bodywork are effective treatments for a wide range of health conditions including muscle and joint pain, arthritis, headaches, depression, insomnia, and stress disorders. Regardless of your reason for exploring this ancient and honored healing tradition, I am confident that as a result of each session, you will experience a positive shift in your health and overall sense of well-being.
I
established Body & Sol in 2001, and I have been joyfully offering compassionate
touch ever since. My practice is built on the belief that everyone has an innate
inner wisdom and the ability to heal and maintain good health, and that the right
guide and the right environment help to awaken and support this process. My intention
is to use my hands, my intuition and my ability to listen deeply in order to awaken
the bodys wisdom and facilitate the healing process. Before each session we will discuss how I can best support and guide you based on your specific goals, needs and areas of concern. During the session you will be encouraged to request adjustments to variables such as pace, pressure, room temperature, music, lighting or anything else that might make you feel more comfortable and enhance your potential for healing.
Throughout the session I will honor and respect your body, mental and emotional space. Your body will always be draped with a sheet and I will only uncover the area that I am working with at the time. You will remain in control of your privacy and modesty.
Following the session, most of my clients report feeling lighter, longer, looser, and experience a deep sense of relaxation that encompasses both mind and body. Because massage stimulates the bodys cleansing process, I advise my clients to drink plenty of water in the 24-48 hours following a massage to enhance the bodys ability to eliminate toxins that were released from the soft tissue during the session. Planning a relaxing evening with a hot bath is also a beneficial way to support your healing process and prolong the effects of the bodywork.
I look forward to our partnership in healing!
Warm regards, Sunny Klaber, MS, CMT
